What is a Postpartum Doula?

A Postpartum Doula provides compassionate, personalized support to families during the weeks and months following the birth of a new baby—typically up to 12 weeks, based on each family's needs. This period is a major transition, and a Doula is there to help make it smoother, more manageable, and deeply supported.

Working closely with each family, the Doula helps identify both the household's practical needs and the emotional well-being of each family member. Together, a care plan is created to foster confidence, healing, and a nurturing environment during this tender time.

Postpartum Doula services may include:

  • Breastfeeding and bottle-feeding support

  • Light housekeeping to ease daily tasks

  • Newborn care guidance and assistance

  • Light meal preparation

  • Sibling support and care

  • Referrals to trusted local resources

  • And perhaps most importantly—a compassionate, listening ear

The goal is to ensure that parents feel supported, rested, and empowered as they adjust to life with their new baby.

Support is available for daytime, evening, or overnight shifts, with flexible scheduling to meet your family's unique needs. Below you will find packages offered in customizable blocks of hours—whether you need care a few days a week or consistent daily support.
